“Personality animated test” in the mobile app
Abstract
Technological progress accelerate changes in individual and social life. This requires to look for new forms and methods which will be more appropriate for studying young generation living in the digital environment. Nowadays it is difficult to imagine a person’s daily life without information technologies. Animation implemented in a mobile application can be used as effective tool for adolescents’ psychological diagnostics. The mobile app KEPAT is Personality Animated Test was developed to diagnose 5 personality traits (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience). Our studies demonstrate that animated tests are reliable psychodiagnostic tools for work with adolescents.
Biography
Nailya Kondratyuk has completed her PHD at the age 32 years from Psychological Institute of the Russian Academy of Education, Russia. She is a senior researcher at the Department of Self-Regulation Psychology at the Federal Scientific Center for Psychological and Multidisciplinary Research, Russia. Her research interests include personality psychology, psychology of self-regulation, psychology of stress, psychodiagnostics. She teaches as an associate professor at several universities, Russia. She is the author of a project for a series of videos and text interviews with famous Russian psychologists "Russian psychological science: people and ideas."
