Psychoanalyst of Guadalajara Psychoanalytic Association, Mexico

Presentation Title:

Democratización, autonomy an exogamy

Abstract

Taking as a starting point the topic: Modern Revolution for the Future of Neuroscience and Psychiatry, what can psychoanalysis contribute to this dialogue with other disciplines? Reflection on 'Democratization, Autonomy, and Exogamy' within the framework of psychoanalytic institutions opens important avenues for considering the transmission of psychoanalysis and the resources this field offers to other disciplines. Sociocultural, historical, political, and even economic transformations drive reflection on the psychoanalytic movement, its transmission, and its relevance in dialogue and interdisciplinary work when addressing the psychic and emotional problems embedded in the subjectivity of our time.
